WEEK 9
As I predicted last week, while most part of my doubts in the Nosfell project has disappeared, I found new ideas to include that can bring more strength to my project.
I stated them to Gabriel and he was happy to see I was more confident in my project. He advised me to start thinking about the audience that could be interested in this project, how I could reach them, the age bracket, the gender, etc. He also suggested me to start thinking about the logo. I told him I found it was a little early to think about these issues but he was right answering me all this work would be useful for me and for them. For me
because I would go forward faster having in mind the target. For them because they would have more precise idea of my project so that they can help me better and earlier.
Nosfell project - additional ideas
Here are two new ideas I will include in my Nosfell project to strengthen its concept:
- The number keys of the keyboard would launch the background sounds whereas the letter keys would sets off klokobetz words. So each number key would represent each musical instrument of the song - the Nosfell voice can sometimes been taken as a musical instrument, for example when he uses it as a beat - and each letter key would represent a word in klokobetz that would symbolize a specific feeling. This separation would be useful to emphasize the feelings launched, provoked by the user.
- The combination of several letter keys pressed would set off a new word so a new feeling. Indeed one "big" feeling can be the addition of many separate "smaller" feelings (for example, we can have: need+melancholy+isolation=sadness).
Nosfell universe
I scanned his cd covers to have an idea of the Nosfell universe.
A quite dark and fantastic universe with characters half-human, half-animal. I'll maybe include such dark colours in my project to refer to Nosfell but I'm not sure for the moment.I've just discovered that he didn't only invented a language but he created an alphabet as well! Amazing!
