MyLittleRobot
This week we are asked to work on brandings: we have to find a logo for the myLittleRobot website. This website will let the user build his own robot to fight against other ones.
So the two main ideas to exploit in the design work are customization and fighting.
The first idea I suddenly thought about was to create the face of the robot with buttons and cursors instead of the eyes, the nose and the mouse so that the user can immediately understand that he can customize his robot.
As I'm not really used to create logos, the next ideas came hardly and lately.
My second idea was to use all the characters of the words "my little robot" as elements of the face of the robot. I wasn't really satisfied of the result.
My third idea came after having made some research of pictures of robots on Google. I wanted to create a little cute robot which inspired fear.
My last idea was just to play with colours, disposition, sizes and types I found adapted to the topic.
I found the process really interesting because we had to wonder which logo would be really adapted and appropriated for this particular website with its particular needs and to argue for each choice we made and not design just as it came.
