Nosfell is a french singer who never sings in french (or just a little...). He sometimes sings in english but most part of time he uses in a language he invented: the Klokobetz. With a precise syntax and a lot of rich sonorities of which the structures are inspired from japanese or german, this language is a part of the Klokochazia myth, another invention of the artist. His audience doesn't understand the Klokobetz but it can feel it cause the words used are based on feelings and mixed with music. According to Nosfell himself, the purpose of the invention and the use of this universal language is to "arouse the human". You can listen to some of his songs in his myspace page.

Sorry for this long introduction, I know I haven't talked about my idea yet but as he's not really famous in France, I can't imagine here. So I had to introduce him in order you to understand my idea that will come soon, I promise...
Ok let's go, I thought about creating an application with a background music allowing the user to launch the sound of a klokobetz word each time he press a key. Each key would represent a different word so a different felling and as well as a sound is launched, a visual representation of this feeling would appear too. I just talked about it with Nicklas and as he told me it can become as well a great project as real rubbish. That's the visual representation of these feelings that scares me a little bit. It can be as simple like some frequencies of different colours as really worked pictures each time. He also told me that this kind of experimental project would be really difficult to "sell" during an interview cause there's not a commercial purpose but I don't care cause I hope to work in a multimedia agency that would allow me create and experiment.
So, like a cow, I have to ruminate this idea (to steal the expression Nicklas used, wasn't it that?) but I think I definitly want to work with interactivity and sound.

I discovered it a long time ago but forgot it until Gabriel talked about it to me.
It contains a lot of experimental applications dealing with images and sometimes with sounds. I found for example this application called Maeda path where the user has to follow with the mouse cursor the way drawn by squares of different colors and associated to different notes. If the user miss the way, it's like if he played a wrong note and the punishment is to play again from the beginning. At each level, the scroll of the squares goes faster.
I found it funny at the first use but with no big interest unless playing with the agility and the concentration of the user. However I'm sure there are still lots of interesting creations I have to discover on the Levitated website to get some inspiration for my own project.
